A while back I submitted three stories from FF365 to a great publication called Fast Forward (they put out collections of flash fiction, of the 1,000 words-or-less variety). Volumes 1 and 2 are already available and volume 3 is forthcoming in 2010. I am pleased to announce that the editors are including all three of my tiny tales in the upcoming volume.
The stories (Balancing Racks, 1976 and Where'd the Cheese Go?) are of my favorites from the project and I am proud to see them included in a cool publication. Thanks to my good friend, Christian Kiefer, for the tip back in December.
If you haven't yet migrated over to Woodside Village 52, there's no time like the present. It's well underway, with six vignettes already in place and more coming every week. It's a very different project than FF365, with all of the characters interrelating inside the physical and emotional geography of an apartment complex. Check it out.
